Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with Hollycorn N.V. as the operator of the website northcasino-bet.ca (the "Website"), including your use of any related project or portal such as North Casino. By accessing or using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms. Effective date: 1 January 2026.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- Operator means Hollycorn N.V., a limited liability company registered under the laws of Curaçao with registration number 144359, having its registered address at Heelsumstraat 51, E-Commerce Park, Curaçao, and holding online gambling licence number 8048/JAZ2019-015 issued by Antillephone N.V.
- Website means northcasino-bet.ca and any sub-pages, including legal pages (such as these Terms, bonus terms and privacy policy) and related review or information projects branded as North Casino that direct users to northcasino-bet.ca.
- North Casino or Brand means the online casino service offered by the Operator exclusively through the Website.
- User, you or Player means any natural person who accesses the Website and/or creates an Account, whether or not that person places Bets.
- Account means a personal user account registered in your name on the Website, used to participate in Games and manage funds.
- Games means all casino, live-dealer, slot, table, lottery, crash, or other gambling and gaming products made available on the Website from time to time.
- Bet or Wager means any sum of money staked by you on or in relation to a Game, whether using Real Money Balance or Bonus funds.
- Real Money Balance means the part of your Account balance comprised of deposits and winnings that are not subject to any wagering requirements.
- Bonus means any promotional value credited to your Account, including bonus money, free spins, free bets, cashback, or similar benefits, which may be subject to specific wagering and withdrawal conditions.
- Bonus Balance means the part of your Account balance that consists of Bonuses and any winnings derived from Bonuses that have not yet met the applicable wagering requirements.
- Promotion means any offer made by the Operator, including welcome bonuses, reload bonuses, loyalty rewards, tournaments and other marketing campaigns.
- Payment Method means any payment instrument or service accepted by the Operator for deposits and withdrawals, such as credit/debit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers and cryptocurrencies.
- KYC (Know Your Customer) means the verification processes used by the Operator to confirm your identity, age, address and source of funds.
- AML means anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing laws and regulations that apply to the Operator.
- Chargeback means a reversal of a deposit transaction initiated by you or your Payment Method provider.
- Applicable Law means the laws of Curaçao and any other mandatory consumer protection or gambling laws that cannot be contractually excluded in your place of residence.
Account Registration
Eligibility and Age Requirements
- Minimum age: You may only open an Account and use the Website if you are at least 18 years old and also meet the minimum legal gambling age in your province or territory of residence in Canada. In many Canadian provinces and territories the minimum gambling age is 19; it is your responsibility to confirm and comply with the rules that apply to you.
- Legal capacity: You confirm that you have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts and that you are acting on your own behalf, not on behalf of any other person or entity.
- Prohibited jurisdictions: The Website is offered under a Curaçao licence and is not registered or regulated by any Canadian provincial authority, including iGaming Ontario or the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. It is your responsibility to ensure that accessing and using the Website from your location is lawful. The Operator may restrict or block access from certain jurisdictions at its discretion.
Account Creation Process
- Registration data: To create an Account, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your full name, date of birth, residential address, email address, chosen password and, where requested, your phone number or other contact details.
- Email verification: You may be required to verify your email address by clicking a confirmation link or entering a code sent to you. Until verification is completed, your ability to deposit, wager or withdraw may be limited.
- KYC documents: At registration or at any time thereafter, the Operator may request documents such as a copy of your government-issued identification, proof of address (e.g., utility bill), proof of ownership of Payment Methods, and evidence of source of funds or wealth. Documents must be clear, valid and unaltered.
- Single account policy: You may only hold one Account with North Casino on the Website. Multiple Accounts, including across variations such as "North Casino Canada" or the project North Casino linked to northcasino-bet.ca, are prohibited and may result in suspension, closure and forfeiture of Bonuses and winnings.
User Obligations
- Accuracy and updates: You must keep your Account information accurate and up to date. You must promptly notify the Operator of any changes to your personal details or contact information.
- Password security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not disclose your password to any third party or allow any other person to access your Account.
- Account usage: All activity conducted through your Account will be deemed to have been carried out by you. You must immediately inform customer support at [email protected] if you suspect that your Account has been compromised.
- Verification checks: The Operator may suspend your Account and block deposits, Bets and withdrawals while KYC, AML or other verification checks are pending. Failure to provide requested information within a reasonable timeframe may lead to Account closure and reporting to relevant authorities where required.
- Use for lawful purposes only: You may not use your Account for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, or the funding of illegal activities. The Operator may report suspicious activity to relevant authorities.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
Placing Bets
- Bet acceptance: A Bet is accepted when it is recorded on the Operator's servers and confirmed by the Game interface. The Operator's records are final and conclusive evidence of all Bets and game results.
- Minimum and maximum stakes: Each Game has its own minimum and maximum Bet limits, which are displayed in the Game rules or on the betting interface. The Operator may adjust limits at any time, including on a per-player basis.
- Currency: Bets are generally placed in Canadian dollars (CAD) or another currency supported by the Website. If your Account currency differs from the Game currency, currency conversion may occur at rates determined by the Operator or your Payment Method provider.
- Game rules: Each Game is governed by its specific rules, paytables and mechanics as provided by the Operator and/or third-party game suppliers. By placing a Bet, you accept the Game rules, which form part of these Terms.
Modification and Cancellation of Bets
- Before confirmation: You may modify or cancel a Bet before it is confirmed by the Game interface, if and to the extent such modification or cancellation is technically supported for that Game.
- After confirmation: Once a Bet has been accepted by the Operator's systems, it is irrevocable and cannot be cancelled or changed by you, except where the Operator expressly agrees or is required to do so by Applicable Law.
- Errors and malfunctions: In the event of an obvious error (including but not limited to typographical errors in odds, paytables or Game configuration) or a technical malfunction that affects a Game outcome or Bet, the Operator may declare the Bet void, cancel the Bet, or adjust the result as if the error had not occurred. Any affected stakes may be refunded to your Real Money Balance, and any erroneously credited winnings may be removed.
Fair Play and Conduct
- RNG and fairness: Random number generator (RNG) technology is used for applicable Games to ensure random and fair outcomes. You accept that the RNG outcomes are final and cannot be disputed on the basis of perceived patterns or streaks.
- Prohibited behaviour: You must not:
- use any form of external assistance (including automated software, bots, scripts or devices) to gain an unfair advantage;
- collude with other players or engage in any coordinated strategy intended to exploit Bonuses or Games;
- manipulate software, attempt to probe system vulnerabilities, or interfere with the normal functioning of the Website.
- Live casino and chat rules: Where live casino tables or chat functions are offered, you must behave respectfully towards dealers, staff and other players. In particular, you must not:
- use offensive, discriminatory, threatening or harassing language;
- promote illegal activities, share personal data of others, or advertise third-party services;
- attempt to influence or distract dealers or staff in a manner that jeopardizes game integrity.
Responsible Gambling
- Entertainment purpose: Games are intended solely for entertainment. You acknowledge that you may lose money and that gambling should not be treated as a source of income or financial solution.
- Tools and limits: You are encouraged to use the responsible gaming tools available on the Website, such as deposit limits, loss limits, session limits and self-exclusion. Details are provided at https://northcasino-bet.ca/responsible-gaming.
- External support (Canada): If you believe your gambling is problematic, you should seek help from independent organisations in Canada, such as provincial helplines (for example, ConnexOntario for residents of Ontario) and other recognised support services in your province or territory.
Bonus Terms
Bonuses and Promotions are subject to both these Terms and the specific Bonus Terms published at https://northcasino-bet.ca/bonus-terms. In case of conflict, the specific Bonus Terms for a Promotion prevail.
Bonus Activation and Wagering
- Eligibility: Bonus availability may depend on your country, currency, Payment Method, and Account history. Some Promotions are limited to new Players, to specific provinces or territories, or to invitations sent via email or on-site notifications.
- Activation: To activate a Bonus, you may need to opt in, enter a bonus code, place a qualifying deposit or Bet, or satisfy other criteria described in the Promotion. If you do not follow the activation steps, the Bonus may not be granted.
- Wagering requirements: Unless stated otherwise, Bonus funds and any winnings derived from them are subject to wagering requirements before they can be converted into withdrawable Real Money Balance. The specific wagering multiple (e.g., 30x, 40x) and eligible Games are set out in the Bonus Terms for each Promotion.
- Time limits: Bonuses and wagering requirements may be subject to expiry deadlines (for example, 7, 14 or 30 days from activation). If the wagering requirements are not met within the stated timeframe, the Bonus and any associated winnings may be forfeited.
Game Restrictions and Prohibited Actions
- Game contribution: Not all Games contribute equally to wagering requirements. Slots may contribute 100%, while table games, live casino and certain high-return slots or low-risk bets may contribute at a reduced rate or not at all. Contribution tables are provided in the Bonus Terms.
- Maximum Bet with Bonus: When wagering an active Bonus, a maximum Bet per spin, round or hand may apply (for example, a specified CAD amount). Exceeding this limit may lead to removal of the Bonus and winnings, at the Operator's discretion.
- Bonus abuse: The following are examples of practices considered Bonus abuse and are prohibited:
- creating multiple Accounts to claim the same Promotion more than once;
- placing low-risk bets or hedging across different outcomes solely to unlock Bonus funds with minimal risk;
- deliberately delaying play, using "safe" bets to trigger game features after Bonus wagering is complete, or employing strategies that contravene the spirit of the Promotion;
- using cryptocurrencies or Payment Methods in a manner intended primarily to launder funds through Bonuses.
Combining Promotions
- One active Bonus at a time: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, only one Bonus may be active on your Account at any given time. Activating a new Bonus may result in the automatic cancellation of any existing Bonus and associated wagering requirements.
- Non-transferability: Bonuses are non-transferable and may not be sold, exchanged, gifted or combined between Accounts.
- Changes and cancellation: The Operator may modify, suspend or cancel any Promotion at any time, provided that such change does not adversely affect Bonuses already accepted by you, except where necessary to comply with Applicable Law or regulatory requests.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposits
- Payment Methods: The Website supports various Payment Methods, which may include credit and debit cards, e-wallets, prepaid vouchers, bank transfers and cryptocurrencies. Availability depends on your location and the Operator's current integrations.
- Processing times: Deposits are usually processed instantly but may occasionally be delayed due to technical or banking issues beyond the Operator's control.
- Fees: The Operator generally does not charge fees for deposits, but your bank or payment provider may apply their own charges or currency conversion fees. You are responsible for such fees.
- Source of funds: By depositing, you confirm that the funds originate from lawful sources and that you are the legitimate owner of the Payment Method used.
Withdrawals
- Verification requirement: The Operator may require full completion of KYC checks before processing any withdrawal. This may include identity verification, proof of address and verification of the Payment Method.
- Withdrawal methods: Where possible, withdrawals will be processed to the same Payment Method used for deposit. If this is not technically feasible, an alternative method may be offered, subject to AML requirements.
- Processing times: The Operator aims to review and process withdrawal requests within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 0 - 3 business days after all required verifications are completed. Actual receipt may depend on your payment provider.
- Limits: Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts may apply per transaction, day, week or month. These limits are stated on the Website or in your Account cashier section and may vary by Payment Method and player status.
- Fees: The Operator reserves the right to charge reasonable processing fees for withdrawals, particularly where multiple withdrawals are requested within a short period or where a withdrawal is requested without adequate wagering of deposited funds. Any such fees will be disclosed before confirmation of the withdrawal.
Refunds, Chargebacks and Transaction Review
- Refund policy: Deposits made to participate in Games are generally non-refundable once they have been used for wagering. The Operator may, at its discretion and on a case-by-case basis, consider refund requests for unused deposits, subject to AML checks and deduction of any applicable fees.
- Chargebacks: If a Chargeback is initiated, the Operator may suspend or close your Account, recover any Bonus and winnings associated with the charged-back funds, and charge you for any costs incurred as a result of the Chargeback.
- Anti-money-laundering controls: If you request a withdrawal without sufficient wagering of deposited funds, the Operator may treat this as potential misuse of Payment Methods and may:
- require additional identity and source-of-funds documentation;
- impose a reasonable wagering requirement on the deposited funds; or
- return the funds to the original Payment Method and close your Account.
- Bonus funds: Withdrawals from Bonus Balance are only permitted after all applicable wagering and other Bonus conditions are fulfilled. If you request a withdrawal before completion, the Operator may cancel the Bonus and associated winnings.
Limitation of Liability
Operator's Obligations
- Service provision: The Operator will use reasonable skill and care to provide the Website, Games and related services in a fair, secure and accurate manner, consistent with its obligations under its Curaçao licence and Applicable Law.
- Game integrity: The Operator strives to ensure that Games operate correctly and that RNG-based outcomes are random. In case of errors or malfunctions, the Operator may void affected Bets and rectify Account balances as described in these Terms.
Exclusions of Liability
- Technical issues: The Operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from:
- failures or interruptions of your internet connection, hardware, software or network;
- incompatibility of your device or browser with the Website;
- delays, data loss, or communication failures due to third-party providers.
- Third-party content: The Website may contain links to third-party websites (including regulators, complaint platforms or information resources). The Operator is not responsible for the content, accuracy, security or availability of such sites.
- Gambling risk: You acknowledge that gambling involves risk of financial loss. The Operator is not liable for your gambling decisions, patterns of play, or for any alleged financial hardship, loss of opportunity, or emotional distress resulting from gambling.
- Regulatory environment: As the Website is operated under a Curaçao licence, the level of regulatory oversight and public reporting may differ from that offered by Canadian provincial regulators. The absence of publicly available enforcement actions or reports in Curaçao does not guarantee the absence of regulatory issues.
Limitation and Cap on Liability
- Maximum compensation: To the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Operator's total aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any single incident or series of related incidents, is limited to the greater of:
- the amount of the Bet or Bets placed by you in relation to the incident; or
- the net amount you deposited into your Account in the three (3) months preceding the incident, less any withdrawals made during that period.
- Excluded damages: To the extent legally permissible, the Operator will not be liable for:
- any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages;
- loss of profits, business, contracts, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings;
- data loss or corruption, except where caused directly and solely by the Operator's gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Non-excludable rights: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Applicable Law, including mandatory consumer protection rights which may apply to Players resident in Canada.
Intellectual Property Rights
- Ownership: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website, including but not limited to the North Casino brand as offered via northcasino-bet.ca, the project name North Casino as used in connection with the Website, logos, trademarks, domain names, software, source code, graphics, texts, audio, video and other content, are owned by the Operator or its licensors.
- Limited licence: You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and Games for your own private, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms.
- Prohibited uses: You may not, without prior written consent from the Operator:
- copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Website or its software, except where permitted by law;
- distribute, sell, resell, publish, license, transfer or otherwise make available any content from the Website to third parties;
- use any automated means to access or collect data from the Website for commercial purposes, including scraping or data mining.
- Third-party rights: Games and related materials may contain intellectual property belonging to third-party suppliers and licensors. Your use of such content is subject to the same restrictions and protections set out in these Terms.
Privacy & Data Protection
- Privacy Policy: The collection, use, storage and disclosure of your personal data are governed by the Operator's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is available at https://northcasino-bet.ca/privacy-policy (or any updated URL notified to you).
- Legal basis: The Operator processes personal data in accordance with Applicable Law and for purposes such as Account management, verification, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, prevention of fraud and money laundering, and the provision and improvement of services.
- International transfers: As the Operator is based in Curaçao and uses international service providers, your data may be transferred outside Canada. Appropriate safeguards are used where required by law.
- Your rights: Subject to Applicable Law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
Amendment Procedure
- Right to modify: The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes in law, regulatory requirements, business practices or the services offered through northcasino-bet.ca and North Casino.
- Notification: Where changes are material and adversely affect your rights, the Operator will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance by:
- sending an email to the address registered on your Account; and/or
- displaying a prominent notice or banner on the Website.
- Effective date of changes: Unless a different date is specified or immediate effect is required by law or a regulator, changes will take effect no earlier than seven (7) days after notice is provided.
Your Options in Case of Changes
- Acceptance: By continuing to use the Website after the effective date of the updated Terms, you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
- Disagreement: If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must cease using the Website, cancel any active Bonuses, and contact customer support to request Account closure and withdrawal of any remaining Real Money Balance, subject to these Terms and any legal or regulatory obligations.
Termination & Suspension
Operator's Right to Suspend or Terminate
- Grounds for action: The Operator may suspend or close your Account, restrict your access to the Website, or withhold funds where it reasonably believes that:
- you have breached these Terms, Bonus Terms, or any Game rules;
- you are underage or have provided false or misleading information;
- you have engaged in fraud, collusion, Bonus abuse, money laundering, or other unlawful or improper activity;
- you have requested self-exclusion or exhibit signs of problem gambling;
- such action is required by law, a court order, or an applicable regulator.
- Investigation: During an investigation, the Operator may temporarily freeze your Account and suspend withdrawals until the matter is resolved.
Consequences of Termination
- Funds in Account: Upon closure of your Account:
- your Real Money Balance, if any, will generally be returned to you, subject to the completion of KYC/AML checks and deduction of any outstanding fees, Chargebacks or damages owed to the Operator; and
- any active Bonuses and associated winnings that have not met wagering requirements may be cancelled.
- Irreversible closure: Once your Account is closed, you may not be able to reopen it. You may request a new Account only with the Operator's prior approval, which may be refused at its discretion.
- Self-exclusion: If you request self-exclusion, the Operator will take reasonable steps to prevent you from opening new Accounts and from receiving marketing communications, as described in the Responsible Gaming information on the Website.
User's Right to Close the Account
- Voluntary closure: You may request closure of your Account at any time by contacting customer support via email or live chat. Before closure, you should withdraw any remaining Real Money Balance, subject to standard verification procedures.
- Effect of closure: Voluntary closure does not affect any obligations or liabilities that have already arisen under these Terms, including any outstanding disputes, investigations or Chargebacks.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Applicable Law
- Primary governing law: These Terms and the relationship between you and the Operator in connection with your use of northcasino-bet.ca and related projects, including North Casino, are governed by the laws of Curaçao, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in your country or province of residence.
- Local law considerations: Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory provisions of Canadian federal or provincial law that cannot be contracted out of, where such provisions apply to your use of the Website.
Dispute Resolution
- Internal complaint process: If you have a complaint regarding the Website, your Account or any transaction, you should first contact customer support at [email protected] or via live chat, providing:
- your full name and Account details;
- a clear description of the complaint, including relevant dates and amounts; and
- any supporting evidence (screenshots, transaction IDs, correspondence).
- Regulator dispute escalation: If you are not satisfied with the Operator's final response, you may escalate your complaint to the independent dispute resolution service designated by the licensing authority. For the current Antillephone N.V. dispute process, you can submit a complaint via https://certria.com/disputes.
- Third-party complaint services: You may also choose to use recognised third-party complaint platforms, such as the service available at https://askgamblers.com/submit-complaint, which may assist in mediating disputes between Players and operators. Such services are independent and are not part of the Operator's internal complaints procedure.
- Court jurisdiction: Subject to the above, any dispute, controversy or claim that cannot be resolved through the complaint process and, where applicable, regulator dispute procedures, may be brought before the competent courts of Curaçao. This does not deprive you of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts where such right arises from mandatory consumer protection laws.
